Description
This kit comprises of a self healing, optically clear, durable paint protection film that is applied to the sole and / or the heel of a shoe to protect the painted sole / heel from damage whilst also providing unmatched grip and anti-slip properties.
Originally created for, and most often used, on the famous ‘red soles’ of a particular French designer’s highly sought after and revered shoes, although the same technique can be applied to any flat soled shoe that requires protection and improved grip.
Our DIY Kit includes everything you will need to design, cut and apply your very own sole protectors and is a far superior product to ‘generic’ sole protectors available elsewhere, as they very rarely fit properly or provide adequate coverage to protect the entire painted sole (due to the huge variation in shoe styles and sizes available).

How To Do It:
Simply place the low-tack transfer sheet on the sole (and heel) of one shoe and trace the outline of the area to be protected, remove the sheet, duplicate and mirror the pattern onto the PPF sheet and then cut your sole protectors ready for application onto the shoes themselves… et voila, it’s really that easy!
Our paint protection film is designed specifically for flat leather soles so it is very flexible and has an adhesive that is strong, yet can easily be removed and re-fitted if it takes you a few attempts to position it correctly. The glossy paint on your soles will not be damaged during the process.
Benefits:
It is important to understand the limitations of the protection film in that it will not protect your soles entirely, forever and a day as this is simply not possible. However, it will protect your soles as much as is physically possible in order to retain the original finish and lustre, and the resultant damage caused by walking on stone, gravel and concrete will be much less apparent and greatly reduced when compared with shoes that do not have sole protection.
In reality, with our shoe protection film, you should be able to wear your shoes half a dozen or so times before the original leather sole paint is damaged beyond repair whereas, without it, your shoe soles will be damaged to the same extent on their first outing… and, yes, many a tear has been shed in this respect!

Also:
With our DIY kit, it is usually possible to produce a minimum of two sets of sole protectors as well as two heel protection strips and number of random pieces if so required (* depends on actual shoe size & style). Additional PPF sheets are also available to purchase separately.
